ST DOGMAELS under-14s footballers have just finished a fantastic season in which they won both the South Ceredigion Junior League title and League Cup.
They are pictured at the cup final in Ffostrasol where they beat Llandysul 3-0 in the final and were duly presented with both trophies.
Coaches for the team are Mike John and Joe Rainsbury,
Joe, chairman of St Dogmaels Junior Football Club, said the club were extremely proud of what the youngsters had achieved.
“Some have been playing together since joining as five and six-year-olds,” he told the Tivyside.
“We have been fortunate this season to be able to make use of the newly-installed 3G facility in Cardigan for both training and matches and this has really helped player development.
“We currently run both mixed (girls and boys) sides from under-6 to under-19s as well as girls-only sides and have over two hundred players participating.
“We also provide regular weekly training sessions and weekend matches supported by over thirty FAW-qualified coaches.
“Anybody interested in joining for the 2024/25 season can find us on Facebook at St Dogmaels Junior Football.”
