Cardigan Running Club members braved the challenging Ras Dewi Sant trail marathon in St David's on Saturday.
Member Alistair Bowen conquered the tough off-road course in under five hours, while Ailinor Evans and Rachel Matthews ran the half marathon distance and 10km trail respectively.
There was trouble in the half marathon as member Mark Underhill offered assistance to another runner suffering hypothermia, while Cardiangels Laura Winter and Kristy White aided a runner suffering pre-hypothermia in the last three miles.
Lon Morgan, a runner from TROTS running club, expressed gratitude for their help on social media.
Concurrently, in snowy Rhayader, Rachel Bailey took on the 30km round-the-lake.
In age category competition, Rob Sharratt snagged first position in the M60 group and Carole Sharratt came third in the F60 group in the 10k race.
