Cardigan Town and Llechryd had to settle for a share of the spoils in a battling 2-2 draw in the Costcutter Ceredigion League division one on Wednesday evening.

Llion Williams and Liam Doherty netted for Cardigan, but goals from Adam Williams and Liam James for Llechryd ensured that the honours ended even on the night.

Defending champions Ffostrasol requested an annual postponement against Crannog, whilst Bargod Rangers emerged a 5-2 winners at Llanboidy in their first victory of the season.

Nickolas Jones scored twice for the hosts, but goals from Lewis Jones, who netted a brace, Lucian Evans, Daniel Evans and Steffan Thomas secured the three points.

On Tuesday night Lampeter Town bounced back from two defeats to beat Felinfach 3-0, with Rhys Bowden, Terry Witts and Scott Davies getting onto the scoresheet.

New Quay were hammered 7-0 by Dewi Stars, with Rupert Geddes (2), Siencyn Jones, Rhodri Morgan, Rhys Davies, Owen Davies, Ryan Busby all finding the net.

Chris Morgan scored twice as St Dogmaels beat Crymych 6-3, with Elliot Wigley, Gwilym Rees, Tomos Lewis and an own goal completing their first win of the campaign.

Arwel Davies, with a brace, and Rhodri George scored for the Preseli men, who slipped to their first league defeat of the season after notching a win and a draw.

In division two, Ffostrasol Reserves hammered Aberaeron Reserves 6-0 with goals from Luke Evans (2), Steffan Thomas, Ioan Evans, Michael Wilcox and Steffan Davies.

Aberporth won 6-1 at Llechryd Reserves with goals by Dan Nichol (2), Dewi Day, Mathew Storer, John Midgley and an own goal, with Oliver Morgan scoring a consolation.

Osian Mason-Evans and Elis Wilson both scored twice as Llandysul won 5-0 at Felinfach Reserves, with Harri Wilson also getting on the scoresheet for the visiting team.

Meanwhile Newcastle Emlyn were comfortable 4-0 winners against Maesglas, with two goals from Peter Almond and singles by Dafydd Owens and Osian Thomas.

Simon Davies scored a hat-trick as Pencader United beat Crymych FC Reserves 6-3 with Bradley Rowland also scoring twice, along with a goal from Joe Russetti.
