LLECHRYD were unable to chase down a winning target of 250 as Hook triumphed by 78 runs in the Thomas Carroll Pembrokeshire League division two at the weekend.
Graham Keen claimed 3-34, and Michael Carter 3-49, by the home batsmen posted a total of 249 for 9, with a superb century from Owen Phelps (110), supported by Aled Phelps (39).
Josh Ward and Tom Lewis each made 38 for Llechryd, but they finished on 171 for 9, with wickets falling to Bradley Flood (3-24), Harry Makepeace (2-25) and Jack Phillips (2-17).
