The sun was out on Friday, 19 May to greet the runners participating in the 8.5/4 mile 'Storm the Castle' race and Cardigan Running Club was, as expected, was well represented.
The short 4 mile course (to Patch and back) was a challenge in warm temperatures.
St Dogmaels-based runner Kerren Simmons was first lady, with Catrin Davies 2nd lady.
Stephen Hill was 10th overall and won the M50 category.
In the long run, which included the climb to Ferwig from the Cliff hotel, first home was Rhydian Jenkins in 4th. Ben O'Leary was close behind in 6th, taking the men's M40 category.
Jane Williams and Rachel Bailey took prizes in their age group (W40).
After the event runners enjoyed the BBQ provided by Cardigan Castle.
