CRYMYCH's hopes of securing runners-up spot in the Costcutter Ceredigion League behind champions Ffostrasol were dealt a blow as they slipped to a 3-2 defeat at Felinfach at the weekend.
Goals from Paul James, with a brace, and Ben McEvoy earned the home side the three points in the end, with Osian Wyn and Ifan Davies netting for the Preseli team.
In midweek, Crymych had notched a crucial 3-0 away win against second-placed rivals Llechryd with goals from Steffan Williams, with a double, and Eilir George.
Llechryd, however, bounced back with a 4-3 win against St Dogmaels at the Cardigan 3G on Friday with goals from Dylan Davies (2), Josh Grota and Liam James.
St Dogmaels scored through Louis Harding, Adam Williams and Lewis Williams, before sliding to their second defeat in a week after a 4-0 defeat at Crannog.
Andrii Solyliak had scored twice for the Llangrannog side, with Marc Davies and Elis Jones also getting on their scoresheet in their win on Wednesday night.
Llion Williams scored four goals as Cardigan won 7-2 at Llandysul on Friday night, with Iestyn Evans, Matthew White and an own goal securing their win. Thomas Fayers and Xavier Davies replied.
Goals from Gethin Thomas and Elliot Alexander meanwhile earned Dewi Stars a 2-1 win at Bargod Rangers, who had found the net through David Reynolds.
Dylan Karliciuk scored a well-taken hat-trick as Maesglas notched their second win in a week in division two with a 3-1 win away at St Dogmaels Reserves.
Jordan Harrison and Marcus Dean also scored for Maesglas, whilst Jordan Owens got on the scoresheet for the Saints' second team on Friday evening.
In midweek, goals from Adam Roberts, Richard Croshaw and Jordan Harrison had earned Maesglas a 3-0 win against Aberaeron Reserves.
Goals from John Midgley, Dylan Jones and Sion Nicoll earned Aberporth a 3-2 win over St Dogmaels Reserves, who scored twice through Gwilym Rees.
Llechryd Reserves were crowned champions of division three in midweek after goals by Max Evans and Morgan Lockton sealed a 2-0 win over Llanboidy Reserves.
Crymych Reserves won 4-1 at Bargod Rangers Reserves, with goals from Mathew Williams (2), Gareth Davies, Rhodri Roberts. Gethin Rees replied.
Llandysul Reserves won 5-3 at Cardigan Reserves, with goals by Elis Wilson (2), David Clark, Lewis Jones and Steffan Morris. Nathan Pitkin (2) and Owen Williams replied.
Ffostrasol Reserves were beaten 2-0 in the South Cards Cup quarter-finals by Lampeter, who secured progress with goals from Scott Davies and Llyr Jones.
Goals from Lewis Thompson and Ashley Herbert earned Llanboidy Reserves a 2-1 quarter-final win over Felinfach Reserves, who scored through Steffan Davies.
