'He's the Man' a nine year old gelding owned by Nicky Bond of Coed – y – Bryn near Rhydlewis and ridden by cousin Jo Bond has returned from the National Welsh Performance Show at Malvern with glowing results.
The Part-Bred Welsh, who two years ago qualified for Horse of the Year Show in the SEIB Search for a Star competition, was this year Champion WPBR Working Hunter and the NFU WPBR Working Hunter Championship for the second year running, and owner Nicky is delighted.
She said: ' He's the Man began his education as a three year old when we broke him in. He was then was turned away to mature and when he turned four, Jo needed a horse to hunt and she asked if she could borrow him. He then went on to do a season as a whipper in with the West Wales Farmers Blood Hounds.'
He's the Man is now entered in the Brightwells Gala Sale at Builth in October.
