THREE weeks after a magnificent nine-darter by James Bevan in the Hope & Anchor Singles Darts League in Cardigan there was very nearly a repeat by local player Peter John, ironically against Bevan.

John hit six 180’s on the bounce but unlike Bevan failed to take out 141 and finished on double 16 for a brilliant 10-darter.

There were some outstanding winning averages including a superb 32.32 (96.96) by Welsh International Johnny Clayton of Pontyberem who sprang a 4-0 win over Joe Roscoe in Division Two.
