AFTER winning the E Roberts (Ffestiniog) Memorial Rali Meirion over the weekend, driver Meirion Evans of Betws Ifan is one rally away from being crowned Welsh Champion for the third time in a row. Supported by John Roberts (Ffestiniog) Ltd and Emyr Jones Groundwork Contractor, the rally organised by the Harlech and District Motor Club saw several Teifi Valley Motor Club members travel to mid Wales for the annual night event.
Car 6 - Neil Weaver and Beulah's Dilwyn John finished in 10th position overall and ninth in the experts class with Alan Parry and Cardigan's Russell Williams finishing in 11th position overall and tenth in class. Pembrokeshire men - Mike James and Aled Johnson finished 26th overall and 7th in class, with Gary Robbins and Dafydd Sion Lloyd failing to complete the rally.
