The Crafton Stud, renowned for its Wembley winners and BSPS Champions over the years is celebrating this week after two of its homebred riding ponies added yet another string to its bow. Based in Tanygroes near Cardigan, the success came last week when the beautiful grey, Crafton Blythe Spirit had a tremendous British Show Pony Society (BSPS) Championship show at Arena UK, in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
Blythe Spirit won three championships and then went on to take the Amateur Supreme Championship of the Year (of all sections). Another homebred, Crafton Touch of Gold, took two championships and went on to be Champion of Champions and this against top class ponies from all over the UK.
And at the CHAPS Championship Show, Crafton Queen of Hearts was Novice Ridden Champion, won the Restricted Novice and was Champion.
' It makes us feel very happy and proud to get results like these,' commented Judith Jackson who has been breeding and showing Riding Ponies and standard Shetland Ponies for nearly 40 years with huge success.
