A painting that depicts one of the most momentous events in Cardigan's 900 year history was unveiled last week.
Celebrated local artists Aneurin and Meirion Jones have created a masterpiece to celebrate 2010 which portrays the first eisteddfod plus other events in Cardigan's tumultuous medieval history.
The painting - which will eventually hang in the Guildhall - is a lasting momento of the 2010 celebrations for the town.
It was unveiled by local AM Elin Jones live on television at a packed launch at the Guildhall last Thursday.
A limited edition of 200 prints are being made at #200 each. The painting is now on show at Jackie's Hairdressers in High Street, Cardigan.
