There’s plenty of things to do and enjoy for alll the family at Jig-So’s Community Fun Day this Saturday (June 12) at King George V Playing Fields.
The event stars at 2pm, preceded by a procession starting at 1.30pm from the Guildhall led by the Jig-So dragon.
The fancy dress theme this year is Famous Welsh - so you have plenty of scope for interesting costumes!
Attractions on the field include stalls, funfair, tea tent, face painting, a storytelling tent, children's entertainment, puppet show, demonstrations, a balloon race and a whole host of activities for all the family.
There will be fancy dress(various ages and categories) and a Creative Cardi Competition,under 10,11-18yrs,group and adult categories.This involves making or recycling a cardigan,any size and being as creative as possible,the possibilities are endless.Entry on the day.
Entrance is free.
