Ceredigion museum curator Michael Freeman gave a talk on how local history can be an important part of Cardigan's 2010 celebrations.
Mr Freeman told the 2010 committee last night that Aberaeron's bicentenary celebrations in 2007 had been a big success - especially when it came to utilising local history.
Scanning days, where people brought in old photographs, and Attic Mania, where people brought in interesting objects for identification, were things that Cardigan 2010 could take on board.
