Frederick Ashton’s ballet adaptation of Cinderella is set to screen at Mwldan.
The Royal Ballet's production will be broadcasted on Tuesday, December 10, at 7.15pm, and Sunday, December 15, at 2pm.
The adaptation, created by founder choreographer Frederick Ashton, is known for its stagecraft, design, and dance, offering a theatrical experience for all ages.
Cinderella, based on Charles Perrault's renowned rags-to-riches tale, first premiered on December 23, 1948.
Since then, it has been a platform for showcasing Ashton's musicality and the beauty of Sergey Prokofiev's score.
The live cinema relay will feature Fumi Kaneko and William Bracewell as Cinderella and The Prince, respectively.
After more than a decade-long absence, Cinderella returned to the stage in 2023 in a new production.
The creative team has brought a fresh atmosphere to the story with their expertise in theatre, film, dance, and opera.
The set design is by Tom Pye, costume designs by Alexandra Byrne, lighting design by David Finn, video design by Finn Ross, and illusions by Chris Fisher.
Tickets are priced at £18, or £17 for concessions, and can be purchased from Mwldan's website or by calling the box office between noon and 8pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
