Two Cardigan organisations have been given grants from Cardigan Town Council.
Before their meeting on Tuesday, October 1, the council presented grants to Meirion Davies, director of Cardigan Castle, and Joe Rainsbury, chairman of St Dogmaels Junior Football Club.
A new Welsh flag was also handed to Councillor Clive Davies on behalf of the Cardigan-Brioude Twinning Committee.
The mayor, Councillor Olwen Davies, sought the update after a recent visit to Brioude.
Additionally, Angela Evans received a Cardigan Town Shield for more than three decades of service to the Cardigan Cancer Care Charity.
