A number of beaches in Cardigan and the surrounding area were cleaned as part of the Big British Beach Clean.
Rotary in Cardigan Bay took part in the clean, organised by the Marine Conservation Society. They chose the Tresaith, Mwnt, Cei Bach and Aberarth beaches.
Rotary volunteers - Carol, Trevor, Linda, Pam, Colin, Debbie, Pete, Philomena, David and Annmarie - collected data which was then fed back to the MSC database.
"Yes, we got soaked but it was worth it," a volunteer said.
