Aberporth's Community Fridge has celebrated its third birthday.
Those involved in the project have highlighted some 'amazing' statistics.
The village hall project - initially funded by a small Cynnal y Cardi grant - has gone from strength to strength, saving around 15 tonnes of surplus food from going to a landfill. The community fridge now has between 200 and 400 users a month.
A special celebration to mark the occasion was attended by Ceredigion County Council chairman Cllr Keith Evans, who praised the project for delivering for the community and tackling waste at the same time.
Co-ordinator Nic King thanked all the volunteers for taking part, saying: "It's been a wonderful effort by everyone."
The Aberporth Community Fridge is based at Canolfan Dyffryn. It has also seen a number of projects including a recycled clothes rail, digi club and community garden.
