Schoolchildren from Cenarth raised £1,000 for their school's PTA by climbing Pen y Fan.
Finnley Parsons, Erin Davies, Bobby Parsons, and Eli Davies took on the challenge on Wednesday, August 21, to support Ysgol Cenarth.
The children, who had been training over the summer holidays, initially aimed to raise £100.
However, they surpassed their target, collecting £1,000 through a JustGiving page.
Pen y Fan, the highest mountain in the south of the UK, stands at 886 metres.
The youngsters prepared for the climb with dog walks, sea and river swims, and bike rides.
The funds raised will assist the school's PTA in providing necessary resources and, if possible, treats for the children.
