A female motorcyclist was rushed to hospital following a collision with a pick-up truck yesterday (Monday, September 9).
The black Toyota pick up truck and blue Harley Davison collided on the A485 between Lampeter and Llangybi at around 3pm.
The road was closed and reopened at 7pm once emergency services had dealt with the incident.
A 66-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Police are investigating a two-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred just before 3pm on Monday, September 9.
“A black Toyota pick-up truck and trailer and a blue Harley Davidson were involved in the collision on the A485 between Lampeter and Llangybi.
“The female rider of the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
“A 66-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving. He has been released under investigation pending further police enquiries. The road was closed and reopened just after 7pm."
