An event is set to celebrate the launch of Age Friendly Ceredigion.
The initiative, part of the World Health Organisation's Age Friendly Communities, aims to support older people and ensure everyone can age well.
The event will take place on September 30 at the council chambers in Penmorfa, Aberaeron, from 9am to 4pm.
It will feature guest speakers, a panel question-and-answer session, and community groups showcasing their work across Ceredigion.
Alun Williams, Ceredigion's cabinet member for through age wellbeing, said: "This initiative marks a significant step forward in our commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for our older residents.
"Our goal is to ensure that Ceredigion is a place where people of all ages can thrive, feel valued, and actively participate in community life.
"The Age Friendly Ceredigion initiative is a testament to our dedication to enhancing the quality of life for our older population.
"By fostering age-friendly communities, we are addressing the unique needs and challenges faced by older adults, ensuring they have access to essential services, social opportunities, and safe, accessible environments."
