A Pembrokeshire firefighter has retired after 45 years of service.
Watch manager Euros Edwards 3955 retired from Crymych Fire and Rescue Station on August 27.
This was marked with a special ceremony.
The fire station posted on Facebook: "It was a very emotional night here in Crymych.
"Thank you so much for your dedication to the community.
"Happy retirement to you sir."
Earlier this year, Mr Edwards was awarded the British Empire Medal in the 2024 New Year Honours List.
He started his career with Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service in 1979, at the time it was known as the Dyfed Fire Brigade.
Mr Edwards was promoted to leading firefighter in 1987, followed by sub-officer in 1988.
Over the years, Mr Edwards has served the Pembrokeshire communities and has played a key role in maintaining high availability levels at Crymych Fire Station.
In 1998, he was instrumental in introducing a voluntary co-responder scheme to Crymych, providing support and saving many lives in north Pembrokeshire.
He also played a significant role in raising more than £40,000 to purchase a new vehicle for the fire station.
