A memorial tractor run has raised £1,660 for the intensive care unit at Glangwili Hospital.
The Rob Pugh Memorial Tractor Run was organised by Rebecca Pugh in memory of her father, Rob Pugh.
Ms Pugh said: "I did this fundraising for the ICU in memory of my father, Rob Pugh, who at the beginning of December 2019 was rushed to A&E at Glangwili Hospital.
"He was then taken to the stroke ward, where he went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to the ICU.
"He passed away on February 20, 2020."
She added that the fundraising is a small token to show appreciation to all involved, who took care of her dad.
The run took place on July 13, the day that would have been Rob's 50th birthday.
Ms Pugh said: "Our family, friends and all that knew him had a great time."
The funds were raised through the tractor and vehicle run as well as a raffle.
Ms Pugh expressed her gratitude to all who attended and donated, including Sean Birch, who made the memorial bench, and Stuart from the Lamb Inn Blaenwaun, who provided food.
She also thanked the Llanwinio Hall committee, who allowed her father's bench to be placed in Blaenwaun Park.
Tammy Bowen, senior sister at Glangwili Hospital, said: "We as a team would like to thank Rebecca for her generous donation.
"This donation will help support our goals as a unit to be able to support our patients and their relatives during their stay in the ICU."
Ms Pugh extended her thanks to her brother, Matthew Pugh, and her grandmother, Kay Evans, who is in her 70s, for helping with the organisation of the event.
She also acknowledged the help of her aunt, Sarah Raymond, for looking after the children on the day.
Nicola Llewelyn, head of Hywel Dda Health Charities, the official charity of Hywel Dda University health board, said: "We’d like to say a huge thank you to Rebecca and all who were involved in the memorial tractor run.
"The support of our local communities enables us to provide services over and above what the NHS can provide in the three counties of Hywel Dda and we are extremely grateful for every donation we receive."
