A National Theatre Live performance will be screened in Cardigan in September and October.
The broadcast event at Mwldan is set to show Jodie Comer’s multi award-winning performance in Prima Facie, a production which broke multiple box office records following its original release in 2022.
Comer, known for her role in Killing Eve, made her West End debut in Suzie Miller’s award-winning play.
Prima Facie takes viewers to the heart of where emotion and experience collide with the rules of the game.
An unexpected event forces Comer's character, Tessa, a young, brilliant barrister from a working-class background, to confront the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof, and morals.
The play directed by Justin Martin, was captured live from the intimate Harold Pinter Theatre in London’s West End.
Screenings in Cardigan are slated for 7pm on September 12, 18, and 26 and at 2pm on October 17.
Tickets are priced at £15 (£14) and are available now from the Mwldan website or by phoning their box office on 01239 621200 between 12-8pm from Tuesday to Sunday.
