Residents are being asked for their input to inform the Llansantffraed conservation area appraisal and management plan.
Ceredigion County Council is required to review its conservation areas from time to time, formulating proposals for their preservation and enhancement.
This includes undertaking or updating conservation area appraisals to identify what makes an area special and any opportunities or problems that may exist.
The council said that an important element of this work is capturing local knowledge about the conservation area and understanding how the area is perceived by people.
Councillor Clive Davies, cabinet member for economy and regeneration, said: "I would encourage all interested parties to get involved in this work, so that the views and knowledge of residents and organisations can be factored in to ensuring the special heritage of Ceredigion is managed for generations to come."
Residents can help shape the conservation area appraisal and management plan for Llansantffraed by attending a drop-in event at Llanon Hall on September 11 from 5pm to 7pm.
Alternatively, those interested in being added to the stakeholder list or wanting further details can contact the council’s planning policy service via email at ldp@ceredigion.gov.uk.
