A youngster from near Newcastle Emlyn will be taking a lead role in a play in Aberystwyth.
10-year-old Gruffydd Rhys Davies of Llandyfriog stars as Charlie Bucket in the Arts Centre's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this summer.
This professional production, based on Roald Dahl's classic, promises plenty of fun until the end of August.
Gruffydd said: "I'm enjoying the whole experience so much, and it's great fun preparing for the show.
"I even get to eat some real chocolate on stage!"
His remaining performances are August 20, 24 and 31 at 2pm and August 22 and 27 and 29 at 7pm.
