Cardigan Castle will host a production of 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' on Saturday, August 10.

Performed by Illyria, the iconic Sherlock Holmes mystery will unravel in an open-air setting.

The renowned literary detective Sherlock Holmes, alongside his trusty assistant Doctor Watson, finds himself faced with his most perplexing case yet.

The plot continues as Sir Charles Baskerville's death is shrouded in eerie circumstances.

Can the same fate plaguing the Baskerville lineage be prevented from consuming the young Sir Henry Baskerville?

The detectives must also solve the peculiar mystery of Sir Henry's missing shoes.

Spanning around 140 minutes (inclusive of a 20-minute interval) with performances commencing at 7pm (Doors open at 6pm), the production is suitable for audience members aged eight years and above.

Ticket prices range from £10 for children to £18 for adults, with a concessionary price of £16.

The outdoor performance requires attendees to bring a low-backed chair or rug for seating, as arrangements have not been provided.

Event organisers advise wearing appropriate footwear and carrying a jacket due to the unpredictable weather.

The castle grounds will be open an hour prior to the performance, with wheelchair access available.

In line with regulations, smoking, vaping, alcohol and glass are prohibited on-site.

A bar serving hot and cold beverages and snacks will be accessible.
