A 30-hour running challenge took place on the weekend to mark the 30th anniversary of Cardigan Running Club.

It kicked off 9am on Saturday, June 29, offering participants to run or walk an hour slot in a relay pattern across the 30 hour period.

The finale on Sunday, June 30 was a joyful lap by all members followed by a well-earned ice cream back at the club's headquarters supplied by Matthew Jenkins.

The event not only marked the anniversary of the club, but also raised funds for Cardigan Cancer Care and the British Heart Foundation.
