A MAN has been accused of controlling and coercive behaviour and causing damage to a caravan.
Tony Anderson, 43, of Cwm Cou, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court charged with three offences.
Anderson was accused of engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate relationship between January 1, 2022, and June 18 this year.
It was alleged that he controlled his partner’s movements and who she could speak to, forced her to pay for shopping, and was verbally abusive and threatening to her.

The defendant was also charged with criminal damage – relating to alleged damage caused to a caravan belonging to the same woman – and affray. Both of these alleged offences were said to have taken place on June 18.
The case came before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on June 20, and was sent on to Swansea Crown Court.
Anderson was remanded in to custody, and will appear to enter his pleas on July 22.
