A WOMAN has denied attacking and strangling a woman in Newcastle Emlyn.
Leah Kelly, 22, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court charged with assault by beating, intentional strangulation, and criminal damage.
Kelly was accused of attacking a woman and strangling her at an address in Newcastle Emlyn on June 12.

She was also accused of damaging a television set belonging to the same woman.
Kelly pleaded not guilty to each charge at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on June 14.
The case was sent to Swansea Crown Court. Kelly was granted bail, and will next appear in court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on July 15.
