Here’s a round-up of the cases.
BENJAMIN PACKER, 38, of Nant Fach in Llangybi, was found with more than 30 grams of cannabis.
Packer was alleged to have been in possession of 31.29 grams of the Class B drug in Llangybi on February 11.
He pleaded guilty at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on May 8.
Packer was fined £307 and must pay £85 in costs.
JOHN DAVIES, of Llanfihangel-ar-Arth, was charged with not identifying the driver of an Audi who was alleged to have committed an offence.
It was alleged that the Audi SQ5 TFSI Quattro was driven on the A475 Heol y Merwydd in Llandysul on June 6 last year without due care and attention and without a valid MOT.
Davies was due to appear at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on May 10 charged with fail to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle when required.
The hearing was adjourned, and the defendant will return to court on June 6.
BG CONSTRUCTION & PLANT LTD, of New Inn, has been fined £1,000 for not identifying the driver of a van.
It was alleged that the driver of a Ford Transit had committed an offence.
The company was found guilty after an offence of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle when required was proved in its absence at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on May 8.
BG Construction & Plant Ltd was fined £1,000 and must pay £110 in costs and a £400 surcharge.
