Money and eggs have been stolen from properties in Ceredigion, according to reports received from honesty boxes.
The police claim they were contacted regarding multiple thefts in recent weeks.
Residents are advised to stay aware of thieves when selling products outside of their property.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson, posting on their Lampeter, Aberaeron and Llandysul Facebook page, said: “We have been made aware of a number of thefts from honesty boxes in Ceredigion in recent days and weeks.
“Money and eggs are being taken from properties. If you are selling eggs outside of your property, please remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour to us.
“If you have any information that could help enquiries or if you need to report an incident, please get in touch.”
