A 35-YEAR-OLD has been found guilty of threatening to kill a man.
Stephen Walters, of no fixed abode, appeared at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on April 2.
Walters was charged with two offences of making threats to kill – against a man and a woman in Llanybydder on February 22.
He was also accused of sending an offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message by a public communications network on July 1, 2022.
The defendant denied all three offences.

Walters was found not guilty of the 2022 charge and of making the threats against the woman. However, he was found guilty of threatening to kill the man.
The case was adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report. Walters was remanded in to custody, and was warned all sentencing options remained open.
He will be sentenced at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on April 17.
