Snow showers could hit parts of Ceredigion on Friday as winter makes way for spring, the Met Office says.
Parts of Cardigan and Aberystwyth could see isolated snow showers and sleet between 6am and 9am on the morning of March 1, according to the weather forecaster's website, with conditions expected to be worse across higher ground.
Any snow that does fall in Ceredigion is unlikely to cause any meaningful disruption, however, with the wintry weather set to be confined to a mixture of rain and sleet that is unlikely to settle in urban areas.

Met Office spokesperson Stephen Dixon said: "There's a chance of some snow falling to high ground in Wales on Friday, but any accumulations to lower ground further south is quite unlikely, with a mix of rain and sleet for many on Friday."

Heavy rain and snow moving north on Friday with some disruption possible. Sunny spells and scattered showers this weekend, some wintry over hills. Winds easing down with overnight frosts likely.
