AN UNINSURED van driver admitted careless driving after crashing in to the back of a vehicle at a junction.
Tom Lewis, 20, of Llanybydder, was driving a Vauxhall Vivaro van on the B4476 on June 21 approaching the junction for Pencader.
The driver of a Ssangyong Musso stopped at the junction and was indicating to turn right. Lewis, who was heading in the same direction, failed to stop and crashed in to the back of the Ssangyong Musso.

The court heard that Lewis got out, apologised, gave his details and said that he was not insured.
Lewis pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention and driving without insurance at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on January 31.
He was fined a total of £576, and must pay a £230 surcharge and £110 in costs. He also had eight points put on his licence.
