A CARDIGAN church has gained a new minister.
Anth Brown will be the new minister of Mount Zion Church in Cardigan with an official induction service to be held later this month.
Anth and his wife Helen officially joined the congregation in October last year.
Anth has a range of experience and theological training from Oxford University and served in a number of Baptist churches in England before he and his family moved to Vancouver.
In Vancouver, both Anth and Helen served in Baptist churches and Anth was also a professor at Regent College.
After returning back to the UK, they joined Mount Zion Church. Anth said: “Coming back to the UK after many years away. It is wonderful to join such an active church that is doing so much in the local community.”
The induction service will formally recognise God’s call to Anth and warmly welcome him as the minister of Mount Zion Church and to the broader local church community. The service will take place at Mount Zion Church, Priory Street, Cardigan, on Saturday, January 27, at 1.30pm. All are welcome to attend the service and the afternoon tea that follows.
