The court ordered the money to be paid
A NEW Quay man has been ordered to pay more than £1,000 in unpaid child support and enforcement fees.
On January 4, Cardiff Magistrates Court ordered the man – who cannot be named for legal reasons to protect the identity of the child – to pay £1,408.27 for the period between December 13, 2020, and August 12, 2023.
The court granted an order submitted by the Child Maintenance Service for payment as it was satisfied that the defendant owed the money, had been given sufficient notice, and had failed to pay one or more instalments, with the payments still not having been made.
