MOST people dream of a white Christmas every year but unfortunately for us, it rarely happens.
Earlier this month, there was some talk that a bit of a white Christmas could happen in parts of the UK, but the Met Office has now predicted that instead of a white Christmas, it will now be a wet Christmas across Ceredigion, north Pembrokeshire and north Carmarthenshire.
Here is the predicted forecast at the time of writing (December 21) for various parts of the region:
Cardigan
The Met Office predicts that Christmas morning will be wet, with rain forecast until the early afternoon. It is predicted to dry up but be cloudy from around 3pm. It is also set to be quite windy with gusts up to 30mph and a bit chilly with temperatures between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius.
Newcastle Emlyn
Just like with Cardigan, the Met Office predicts that Christmas morning will be wet, with rain forecast until the early afternoon. It is predicted to dry up but be cloudy from around 3pm. It is also set to be quite windy with gusts up to 29mph and a bit chilly with temperatures between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius.
St Dogmaels
The Met Office also predicts that Christmas morning will be wet, with rain forecast until the early afternoon. It is predicted to dry up but be cloudy from around 3pm. It is also set to be quite windy with gusts up to 30mph and a bit chilly with temperatures between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius.
Crymych
The Met Office predicts that it will rain forecast into the afternoon. It is predicted to dry up but be cloudy from around 6pm. The winds are expected to reach up to 34mph and it will be quite cold with temperatures between 7 and 9 degrees Celsius.
Llandysul
The Met Office predicts that most of Christmas day will be wet, with rain forecast throughout the morning and into the early afternoon. It is set to dry up around 6pm and be cloudy, but more rain is forecast for around 9pm. It is also set to be quite windy with gusts up to 29mph and a bit chilly with temperatures between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius.
