A CHANGE of use of some residential land to a pitch for touring caravans in Llandysul has been granted as lawful by the council.
The land at Fron Rafel, Velindre, has been converted from residential land into five pitches for touring caravans.
A Certificate of Lawful Development was applied for by Steve Drewett for the change of use from residential land for the five pitches and the associated works carried out including an access road and electric hook up, as the works were carried out in line with planning permission that was previously granted and works were completed in June 2017, with the site becoming operational and trading in August of the same year.
The certificate was applied for as the current owner is planning to sell the property and the solicitors for the buyer have asked for confirmation that the works were carried out in accordance with the planning approval and associated plans.
On October 10, Carmarthenshire County Council granted the certificate as the relevant documentation provided showed that works had been carried out in accordance with the approved plans.
