LOCAL community councillors were given a tour of the new Aberporth village hall at the weekend.
The community council is one of the funders who have contributed to the £1.35m project.
Councillors were joined by the village's two county councillors Clive Davies and Gethin Davies. Ceredigion County Council is also a funder of the project and will be footing the cost of the planned Changing Spaces disabled toilet facility.
Also present was Eve Evans, widow of former hall stalwart Hywel Evans.
Village Hall chairman Mike Harwood said: "It was a pleasure to show our local councillors around so that they can see the progress of our new community facility."
The hall is on schedule to open in early spring next year.
Community council chairman Cllr Dave Addison said: "It's great to see the progress and we all look forward to it being completed and open to the community."
