A WOMAN who assaulted a man twice in a matter of months has avoided a prison sentence.
Diane Lees, 54, of North Road in Lampeter, appeared at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court facing five offences.
Lees was charged with common assault for attacking a man in the area of the Royal Oak in Lampeter on March 15.
She was arrested, and was charged with criminal damage after reportedly damaging a police vehicle at Aberystwyth Police Station on the same day.

Lees was also accused of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress at the Royal Oak on June 23, and assaulting the same man.
Again, she was arrested, and was charged with criminal damage after reportedly damaging the police vehicle, also on June 23.
Lees admitted the five offences at Aberystwyth Magistrate’ Court on October 19.
She was sentenced to a one-year community order, as part of which she must complete 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
She was also ordered to pay £200 compensation to the man she assaulted, £264 compensation to Dyfed-Powys Police, a £120 fine, costs of £85, and a £114 surcharge.
Her victim was granted a two-year restraining order against her.
