A 20-YEAR-OLD man has denied a series of domestic violence charges.
Kieran Balmont, of Maes Cader in Pencader, appeared at Swansea Crown Court facing eight charges against the same victim.
The court heard that the victim in the case was 17 years old.

Balmont was accused of three offences of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against the woman relating to alleged incidents in June, on August 3, and between September 26 and 27.
He was also charged with strangulation and making threats to kill, as well as two charges of theft – relating to the woman’s phone and bank card. These alleged offences were said to have taken place between September 26 and 27.
He pleaded not guilty to each of the charges.
Balmont was remanded in to custody, and will face a trial on February 6.
