A CEREDIGION road will be closed to traffic for a period of time in November.
Ceredigion County Council issued a public notice in the October 24 edition of the Tivyside Advertiser highlighting the planned closure of the A475 Llandyfriog, Newcastle Emlyn, for works to be carried out to reconstruct the carriageway.
The specified road closure is:

Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Bridge Street and travel through Newcastle Emlyn to the Water Street junction with the A484.
Turn left onto the A484 and travel through Saron to the junction of the A486. Turn left onto the A486 and travel to the roundabout in Llandysul. Take the first exit to the second roundabout and take the second exit onto the A475 and travel in a westerly direction to a point east of the closure.
The diversion is a total of 16 miles and the alternative route for vehicles travelling westbound is vice versa of the above.
