A HEARING will be held to determine a man’s level of involvement in supplying cannabis in Ceredigion.
Alexis Eberhard, 23, of James Close in Llanon, had pleaded guilty to conspiring to supply cannabis between December 19, 2022, and June 1, 2023.
Prosecutor Craig Jones had previously told the court that 15kg of cannabis was discovered in a vehicle stopped by police travelling between Birmingham and Aberystwyth.
Eberhard’s basis of plea, however, related “to a single kilogram” of cannabis.
“As the evidence currently stands, it’s difficult to accept that basis of plea,” Mr Jones had said.

The defendant and prosecution had been given two weeks to consider their positions on Eberhard’s basis of plea.
He returned to Swansea Crown Court on October 23, and the basis was maintained.
A Newton Hearing will be held on November 14 to determine whose version of events are believed to be true.
His co-defendant, Gemma Howell, 20, of Plowden Road in Kidbrooke, Greenwich, had pleaded guilty, and is in custody awaiting sentence.
