A CWMANN man has admitted online child sex offences two weeks before he was due to stand trial.
Jonathan Strain, 37, of Treherbert Street, was brought back before the court after previously denying three charges.
Strain has now pleaded guilty to attempting to cause a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity and attempting to cause a child to watch sexual activity – both between October 12, 2021, and February 9, 2022.

He had previously denied an additional charge of attempting sexual communications with a child.
Prosecutor Ashanti-Jade Walton said the pleas were acceptable to the Crown Prosecution Service.
A pre-sentence report was ordered, and a psychiatric report was also ordered.
The previous trial date of October 24 was vacated, and Judge Huw Rees set a sentencing date of December 11.
