THESE two defendants have appeared at Aberystwyth Magistrates' Court recently.
The two men have been charged with assault by beating and assault thereby occasioning actual bodily harm.
The alleged offences were said to have taken place in Pencader and St Dogmaels.

ALAN WALTERS, 35, of Cwmduad, has pleaded not guilty to attacking another man.
Walters was charged with assault by beating following an alleged incident on May 1 in Pencader.
He pleaded not guilty at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court.
Walters was granted bail, and will return to Aberystwyth Magistrates' Court on October 26.
STEPHEN MCGANN, 48, of Cardigan, is accused of attacking a woman.
McGann was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm against a woman in St Dogmaels on July 30 last year.
He was granted bail, and will return to Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on November 30.
