A 69-YEAR-OLD from Ceredigion has admitted sexually assaulting a woman in Carmarthenshire on the day of his trial.
Vivian Baker had been charged with sexual assault after being accused of touching a woman in Ffairfach, near Llandeilo, on August 19 last year without her consent.
Baker, of Woodlands Caravan Park in Llanon, admitted the offence at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on August 25 – on the day of his trial.

When sentenced on September 12, Baker was sentenced to a 12-month community order, as part of which he must complete up to 15 days of rehabilitation activity requirement.
He was also fined £398, and must pay his victim £500 in compensation, along with £85 in costs and a £114 surcharge.
Baker must also register as a sex offender for five years.
