TWO men were in court recently for assault charges – with one being locked up.
Pablo Oram, 39, of no fixed abode, Aberaeron, admitted two charges including common assault at Llanelli Magistrates Court on September 8.
He admitted that on September 6 in Aberaeron, he assaulted a man. He also admitted a charge of theft when, on the same date, he stole computer gaming equipment and an airsoft weapon from the same victim.
He was jailed for 10 weeks for the offences due to his flagrant disregard for court orders, people and their property. He also has to pay £154 surcharge and £85 costs.
Liam Douglas, 24, of Penbryn, Lampeter, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on August 30.
He admitted that on August 10, in Lampeter, he assaulted a police officer by beating him.
He was ordered to pay £733 fine, £50 compensation, £293 surcharge and £85 costs.
