CARDIGAN Castle will be the venue for a night of choir music in July.
The venue will be hosting Only Men Aloud in a co-promotion with Theatr Mwldan on Friday, July 14.
Alongside Only Men Aloud, there will be music from Only Boys Aloud (West Group) and Ceredigion Intermediate Choir.
Only Men Aloud have been delighting audiences around the world for more than twenty years following their 2000 formation to inject some new life into the Welsh Male Choir tradition.
They will cover different styles of music including Welsh hymns and folksongs, opera, musical theatre, swing, acapella and pop music.
The group were named as BBC One’s Last Choir Standing in 2009 and were given an album deal with Universal Records. The following year, they won a Classical Brit Award for Best Album.
Only Boys Aloud (West Group) is a group of youngsters from across the west Wales area who have formed a choir under the Only Boys Aloud name.
Ceredigion Intermediate Choir is made up of pupils from Ceredigion High Schools in years seven to nine. They perform a range of styles including Welsh songs, musicals and classical.
Only Men Aloud, Only Boys Aloud (West Group) and Ceredigion Intermediate Choir will be at Cardigan Castle on Friday, July 14.
Doors open at 6.30pm and the music begins at 7.15pm. Tickets cost £25 and can be bought at www.mwldan.co.uk or by calling 01239 621200 between 12pm and 8pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
