A Cwmann man has denied a series of online child sex offences.

Jonathan Strain, 36, of Treherbert Street in Cwmann, appeared at Swansea Crown Court facing three allegations – dating between October 12, 2021, and February 9, 2022.

He is accused of attempting to cause a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, attempting to cause a child under 13 to watch a sexual act, and attempting sexual communications with a child.

Strain denied all charges.

Ian Ibrahim, defending, said Strain had said he did not make those communications.

A trial date was set for October 24, and Strain will remain on bail.
