POLICE have attended a crash on the main A487 between Brynhoffnant and Pentregat on Wednesday evening, 31 May, at around 5pm.
The incident happened outside the New Inn pub, with officers closing one lane and directing traffic through.
Local reports said that one vehicle was on the road (southbound) with its front wheel detached and airbags deployed, with another vehicle on its side.
"The incident happened near the bend between Brynhoffnant and Pentregat, in front of the New Inn pub," said an eyewitness at the scene.
"Police are directing traffic passed the car still on the road, with one lane closed, and traffic has been coming through slowly.
"The other car is on its side, off the road in the car park of the New Inn."
It is believed that an ambulance has also attended the scene.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "We were called at 4:50pm to a two car collision outside the New Inn pub, on the A487 between Brynhoffnant and Plwmp.
"Minor injuries were sustained."
